Bruno Bioni has Ph.D. in Commercial Law and a master’s in civil law from the University of São Paulo Law School. He was a study visitor for the Department of Personal Data Protection of the European Data Protection Board/EDPB and the Council of Europe and a visiting researcher at the Centre for Law, Technology, and Society at the University of Ottawa Law School. He is the author of the book “Proteção de Dados Pessoais: a função e os limites do consentimento” (Personal Data Protection: the role and limits of consent). He is the founder and director of Data Privacy Brazil, an intersection space between a school of courses and a research associate in the area of privacy and data protection.
