Pavol Draxler
Security Manager - Binary Confidence
Pavol has been involved in the field of security since 1997, initially focusing on authoritarian regimes and political radicalism. In 2001, he joined the anti-extremism unit of the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic, where he became the head of the unit in 2004. Subsequently, in 2007, he served at the European Commission’s delegation in Moscow, overseeing EU security matters within the political section. From 2010, he worked as the head of security on a European Commission project for secure, encrypted information transmission between EU member states and Commission agencies. He is a co-author of several studies on extremism. Since 2012, when he prepared the first early-warning study, he has focused on the topic of organized state propaganda and disinformation campaigns. In parallel, he is co-owning the information security company Binary Confidence.
