Isabel Gates is a Telecommunications Policy Specialist and current Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Department of Commerce – National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA). In NTIA’s Office of International Affairs, Isabel promotes U.S. economic prosperity through engagement at international fora such as the ITU and OECD on various ICT and emerging technology issues like AI governance. She earned a Master of Public Affairs from Brown University in May 2022, and she graduated from the University of Washington in 2021, where she studied International Studies and Italian. She is originally from Gig Harbor, WA.
