Var Shankar

As Executive Director at the Responsible AI Institute, Var helps organizations use AI in alignment with applicable laws, frameworks and best practices. He is also a member of the OECD Network of Experts, the Brookings Forum for Cooperation on AI, and the World Economic Forum’s AI Governance Alliance. Var is a Co-Instructor, along with Alexis Cook, of Kaggle’s AI Ethics course. A graduate of Harvard Law School, he previously practiced law at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, where he worked in the Banking & Credit and Capital Markets practices.
