A series of tools for agencies to use to help them understand and assess the potential impacts of the algorithms they create or use.

A cross-portfolio work programme on AI has been developed, encompassing the public sector and wider NZ economy, addressing governance and economic and social development objectives, and national security considerations. Within this work programme, NZ will produce a national AI Strategy and Responsible AI Guidance for businesses.
