Initiative overview

Slovakia has launched a new website in collaboration with the National Artificial Intelligence Platform “AIslovakIA” to make information on AI more accessible. Until now, legislation, policy documents, and initiatives have often been scattered across different institutional portals, limiting their visibility to both experts and the wider public. By centralising these resources, the platform aims to support transparency and help citizens and professionals stay informed about how AI is being regulated and promoted in Slovakia.

The initiative forms part of the Action Plan for the Digital Transformation of Slovakia 2023–2026, which sets measures for strengthening digital governance and innovation. Its main purpose is to provide easy access to AI-related legislation, strategies, research documents, and official initiatives. Alongside legal texts, the site highlights AI-related events, conferences, and academic study programmes, giving users a clearer picture of the country’s AI ecosystem.

The platform is designed for multiple audiences: policymakers and researchers can find official resources and updates in one place, while businesses and citizens gain insight into opportunities to engage with AI projects or training.
