These tools and metrics are designed to help AI actors develop and use trustworthy AI systems and applications that respect human rights and are fair, transparent, explainable, robust, secure and safe.
xsoft comply
xsoft comply is a Python software development kit (SDK) that records the operations of AI systems to support record-keeping under Korea’s AI Basic Act ("The Act"). The Act places obligations on operators of AI systems, such as transparency, risk management and human oversight. Meeting these obligations requires reliable records of what an AI system did and how people supervised it. The SDK collects these operating records and sends them to the xsoft comply service. It is an early-stage product and does not provide legal advice or certify compliance.
Developers add the SDK to their AI applications. It records the start and end of each session, calls to large language models (LLMs), tool calls, data access, decisions and human reviews. Integrations are provided for LangChain and the OpenAI Agents SDK. Developers can also attach structured evidence for Articles 31, 32 and 34 of the Act. These cover areas such as notifying users and labelling AI-generated content, risk and incident management, explanations of results and the identity of human supervisors and reviewers.
Raw prompts and responses are not sent by default; only their length and a short hash are recorded. Common personal data formats in metadata, such as phone numbers and card numbers, are masked automatically. Records are sent in the background and stored locally if transmission fails. On the server, each record is linked to the hash of the previous one, so changes can be detected. The SDK is released under the MIT licence.
