Daniel as CEO Erasmus.AI has two decades of experience in collecting and processing planetary scale datasets. The Erasmus.AI platform built its own search engine to visualise, augment, inform and reveal hidden connections in the world’s news at web-scale. The team lead the development of ClimateGTP foundational and fine-tuned model family, which is the world’s first foundational AI model family focussed on effects of Climate Change on Human Systems, pioneering domain specific models, built with green power, achieving 12x reduction CO2 per equivalent query. After building and fine-tuning 250 models ClimateGPT 1 was followed up with Model 2 in January 2024. Additionally Daniel is Head of AI for Internet Archive Europe, releasing several public purpose models in 2025.
He is a Full Member of the Club of Rome, building on more than 25 years experience running global foresight processes as co-founder of The Digital Thinking Network. The DTN lead scenario and innovation breakthrough processes for governments and Fortune 50 companies anticipating Global Financial Crisis, Oil Price Collapse, created the first CBDCs, reference architectures for Cybersecurity, Cloud, AI, etc several resulting multi-billion Dollar direct profits, and 10x investment, returns over 3 years. Additionally as response to Covid initiatives he co-founded lead to sponsoring 60M meals in Southern Africa
