Economic Advisor – AI Strategy and Policy Analysis - Department for Science, Innovation and Technology
Eniola Babalola is an economic advisor in the UK Civil Service, working in the Department for Science Technology and Innovation, leading on the analysis of the governments AI policy and analytical strategy. I have worked in both HM Treasury on economic assessment, and the Department for Business and Trade on free trade agreements modelling and service sector trade analysis.
She currently leads on the analysis and assessment of the UK AI ecosystem, how AI impacts the economy and society, and value for money assessments of government interventions across these spaces. I coordinate the strategic approach to unified government analysis of AI impacts, and planning for the long term evidence strategy with regards to all aspects of AI impacts and markets.
