Luis Ricardo Sánchez Hernández
General Director of Regulations and Consultation - Secretariat for Personal Data Protection (INAI)
Master degree in ICT Law with specialized studies in digital data protection, serves as an institutional representative in several national and international groups, member of the Advisory Council of the National Alliance of AI, as well as the Consultative Group of Experts on Regulatory Sandbox and the Consultative Group of Experts in Neurorights. He has provided technical support in personal data protection in the G-20, WTO, Pacific Alliance, Intersecretariat Working Group on NAFTA’s implementation, Mexico-US HLED, and in the GPA.
Furthermore, he is a professor, speaker and lecturer nationally and internationally in several courses, seminars, and conferences on personal data protection. He has presented before different private and public universities, research centers, companies, public entities, and society. Co-author of specialized works on personal data protection, as well as an opinion columnist and commentator in digital media.
Relevant positions: Head of the Litigation Department at the Superior Audit Body of the State of Mexico, Director of Personal Data Protection at the Infoem (Local DPA), Head of the Planning and Transparency Unit at the Executive Secretariat of the Anti-Corruption System of the State of Mexico, and Director of Private Sector Facilitation at the General Directorate of Prevention and Self-Regulation at INAI.
