María Paula Mujica

María Paula Mujica i is currently an advisor at the Presidency of Colombia focusing on Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence and is part of the AI Task-Force. Before working for the Presidency Maria Paula was an advisor for the National Authority for Data Protection in Colombia where she provided advice to the Deputy Superintendent for Data Protection on the regulation of this area in the country. She an author of the Ethical Framework for Artificial Intelligence in Colombia and from her work she has promoted different initiatives, including the Ethical Framework Monitoring Dashboard and the Mission of Experts in AI. She holds an LLM degree in International Law from University College London, is a qualified lawyer in Colombia and holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Universidad de los Andes.
