Michelle Ramsden is Senior Counsel in the Office of Privacy and Civil Liberties at the U.S. Department of Justice, where she advises on privacy, data security, and compliance matters. She previously served as Attorney Advisor at the same office and held privacy and governance roles at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Department of Homeland Security. Michelle began her career as a Pro Bono Attorney at Emory University School of Law’s Volunteer Clinic for Veterans. She holds a J.D. from Emory University School of Law and a B.S. in History and Political Science from Shorter College.
