Sasha Luccioni is a Research Scientist at HuggingFace, where she works on the ethical and societal impacts of Machine Learning models and datasets, including quantifying the carbon footprint of AI algorithms. She is also a founding member of Climate Change AI (CCAI), an organization which catalyzes impactful work applying machine learning to the climate crisis, and a director of Women in Machine Learning (WiML), a non-profit organization that works to increase awareness and appreciation of the achievements of women in machine learning.
