Vasilis Bonis
Technical Manager, Team Leader, Senior Software Architect and Technical Coordinator of European Projects - National Documentation Centre
Vasilis Bonis is a Technical Manager, Team Leader, Senior Software Architect and Technical Coordinator of European Projects at National Documentation Centre (NDC) in Greece. He has participated in the design, development and management of a variety of national and European projects, since 2012, with the main goal of creating IT systems and services for the academic and research community. Since 2020 he is a member of NDC’s Indicators & Statistics for Research, Development and Innovation department as a Technical Manager. He was involved in the EuroCRIS consortium, an international not-for-profit association, that brings together experts on research information in general and research information systems (CRIS) in particular, as a member of the Architecture & Development task group. He is also a member of the Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality (AIVR) lab in the University of Piraeus, Athens, Greece.
He holds an MSc in Intelligent Technologies in Human Computer Interaction from University of Piraeus, Athens, Greece in the field of Recommender Systems.
