The OECD.AI Policy Navigator

The National Artificial Intelligence Strategy of the Dominican Republic (ENIA), launched in October 2023, is led by the Government Office for Information and Communication Technologies in collaboration with the Cabinet of Innovation and Digital Development. It aims to integrate AI ethically and responsibly to support national development, focusing on human talent, infrastructure, innovation, regional collaboration and ethical governance, within the National Innovation Policy 2030 framework.

Taína is a public service agent developed by the Government Office of ICT (OGTIC) to help citizens access information about public services and procedures in clear and accessible language. It provides guided assistance through a web interface. The initiative explores how public AI can improve citizen service while remaining ethical, inclusive, and open source.
