In In October 2017, the UAE Government announced the vision of the National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence of 2031 which aims for the UAE to be one of the leaders in AI in the world.

National professional development programme led by the UAE Ministry of Education and delivered in partnership with the Emirates College for Advanced Education to equip teachers and school leaders to integrate AI into teaching, assessment and school practice. It builds practical capability across seven curriculum-aligned AI areas, including AI foundations, data and algorithms, ethical use, classroom applications and innovation. Launched at GITEX Global 2025, scaling to train 5,000 educators.

This R&D experiment is exploring the potential of advanced machine learning approaches to create synthetic data that may enable wider use in AI applications of sensitive data.

In September 2021, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications announced that the UAE would introduce a new federal data protection law, the first federal law of its kind in the UAE.

This initiatives is aimed at gathering all the AI experts in the country in one network.
