The Al-Khwarizmi Program is a national Moroccan initiative that supports research in artificial intelligence and big data. It funds 45 projects from 15 universities to solve real-life problems in areas like health, agriculture, and education. The goal is to boost innovation and help different sectors benefit from new technologies.

Initiative overview
The initiative has the following objectives:To prepare human capital with the AI skills that the country needs to develop a prosperous economy based on digital transformation and the knowledge economy.To support applied AI research aimed at improving the competitiveness of Moroccan companies.To promote the upgrading of an innovative productive fabric that can take advantage of the different socio-economic opportunities that AI offers both at national and international level.
