Description :
  • The objective of the policy is increasing the creation of social and economic value through the digital transformation of the public sector and the private sector, through the reduction of barriers, the strengthening of human capital and the development of enabling conditions, so that Colombia can take advantage of opportunities and face the 4IR related challenges.

  • The Colombian government adopted the CONPES document on Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence (CONPES No. 3975) of November 2019 that establishes the National Policy for Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence.

    This Public Policy seeks to generate the enabling socio-economic conditions for the development of AI in Colombia, aiming for the i) adoption of a ethical framework for responsible and inclusive AI development, ii) exploitation of data as a pillar of development for AI and iii) establishment of a market that takes advantage of AI at a productive and competitive level.
