In partnership with the Ministry of Information, Communications and Digital Economy and Microsoft, UNDP Kenya is co-creating a groundbreaking Africa Center of Competence for Digital and Artificial Intelligence Skilling.

As a digital public good that empowers organizations across the agricultural landscape to seamlessly share, integrate, and leverage valuable data for the greater good, KADP offers more customized services to farmers, fosters collaboration, enhances data accessibility and promotes sustainable agricultural practices.

This Strategy aims at developing the digital economy in Kenya. It focuses on six pillars (Digital Government, Digital Business, Infrastructure, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Digital Skills and Values and Digital Inclusion) as well as the following cross-cutting themes: An Integrated Ecosystem, Data, Emerging Trends, Green ICT, Security and, Policy and Regulatory Framework.

This initiative is part of Kenya's government Blockchain and AI Taskforce, and explores the different ways these technologies can contribute to addressing the country's challenges.

The Kenyan government created a Blockchain & Artificial Intelligence task force in February 2018.

This initiative groups several projects using AI in Kenya's public sector.

Kenya Education Network Trust (KENET) is a not-for-profit membership operator incorporated to support research and education institutions.

The programme introduces primary school children to the use of digital technology and communications. It is targeted at learners in all public primary schools in Kenya.
