Cameroon’s National Artificial Intelligence Strategy (SNIA)
Cameroon's National Artificial Intelligence Strategy (SNIA), unveiled in July 2025 by the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, aims to position the country as Africa's leading AI hub by 2040. Built around seven pillars — governance, data infrastructure, multilingual AI, edge computing, human capital, innovation, and regional cooperation, it targets 60,000 people trained, 12,000 jobs created, and an AI contribution to GDP of 0.8–1.2%.
