National Artificial Intelligence Policy
Ethiopia’s National Artificial Intelligence Policy, issued by the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in June 2024, provides a national framework to guide the development, adoption and governance of artificial intelligence. It aims to build human capacity, strengthen data and digital infrastructure, support research and innovation, and promote inclusive development, while setting policy directions on ethics, legal frameworks, transparency and accountable use of AI across sectors.
