Robert Kroplewski
Representative - Minister for Digitalisation of the Information Society in Poland
Robert Kroplewski is a legal adviser, a long-term practice of technological convergence and a specialist in the field of new technologies law and their transfer, electronic media and social communication services (since 1994). Founder and owner of kroplewski.com law firm. His practice was born out of connection of three passions to creativity, technology and law. Since 1994 he constantly advices taking into consideration the experience of transformation prosses of the system, the economy and the market and understanding human position versus information revolution. In 2016, he was appointed Plenipotentiary of the Minister of Digitization for the Information Society. Since June 2018, he has been a member of the high-level expert group on AI Strategy for the European Commission (AIHLEG), and since November 2018 he has been nominated by OCED also as an AI expert in the AIGO group. Additionally in October 2019 he was nominated as a member to CAHAI in Council of Europe, and since February 2020 he was called by UNESCO as a member of AHEG, the group of experts aim a working out a global framework of code of ethics on AI. Since 07.2020 he has been entrusted as a CEO of the project Digital Platform of Future Industry runs by Foundation of Platform Furniture Industry in Poland.
