Artificial Intelligence for All - Practical Prompting Guide



Artificial Intelligence is dynamically entering every aspect of professional and daily life. The ability to communicate effectively with advanced AI systems, particularly Large Language Models, is rapidly emerging as a fundamental digital literacy.

This guide, created by the Greek Special Secretariat of Artificial Intelligence & Data Governance in collaboration with expert Greek scientists, is aimed at every citizen who wishes to utilize Artificial Intelligence in everyday life and at work, without requiring prior technical knowledge.

The main objectives of the tool are:

1. Empowering citizens with practical prompt engineering skills.

2. Fostering a deep understanding of the limits and capabilities of AI.

3. Promoting ethical principles and responsible AI use.

4. Ensuring equal access to emerging technologies for all demographics.

The guide features 8 different application categories with over 25 practical examples. Content modules include an introduction to AI, guidelines for effective interaction (prompting), practical examples, responsible use (best practices, limits, and risks), and a glossary of terms.
