Digital Trust Label

The Digital Trust Label is intended to empower users of digital service by showing the trustworthiness of a digital service, including AI application to them. As such it is a powerful tools for organizations and digital service providers to credible communicate their commitments to Digital Trust and Responsibility.

The Digital Trust Label is only awarded to digital services that have gone through a rigorous auditing process conducted with an external auditor on the basis of our criteria catalogue.

The Digital Trust Label was developed together with the main partner EPFL in a multi-stakeholder process and supported by leading academic institutions in Switzerland, first-mover companies, an audit company and public consultation of civil society and consumer organizations.

The label has been spearheaded by the non-profit foundation Swiss Digital Initiative with headquarters in Geneva. Our work is supported by the Swiss government, foundations such as Mercator, and the association digitalswitzerland.
