Andreas Kaminski is a professor of philosophy of science and technology at the Technical University of Darmstadt.
His research areas include:
- Social Epistemology: the philosophy of trust and testimony
- Technical Epistemology: the role of technology in scientific processes (computer simulation and machine learning)
- Politics of Technology: modeling for policy
Andreas Kaminski is co-editor of the Yearbook of Philosophy of Technology. He is a senior scientist at the High-Performance Computing Center of the University of Stuttgart (HLRS), where he established and led a department for the philosophy of computer-based sciences. Previously, he was a visiting professor at RWTH Aachen University.
