
Bertrand Monthubert is a mathematician, a former university president of the University of Toulouse, and an architect of France’s higher education and research strategies. Known for co-founding the “Sauvons la recherche” movement and as director of the “Atypie-Friendly” university programme, he chairs several organisations devoted to the development of data and AI: the National Council for Geolocalised Information, Ekitia, and OpenIG. He has been a GPAI expert since its creation and co-chaired the Data Governance working group.
