
Charbel-Raphaël Ségerie is the Executive Director of the CeSIA in Paris, where he leads research and education on AI safety. He teaches an AI safety course at the École Normale Supérieure and founded ML4Good, a bootcamp that has upskilled AI safety researchers in ten countries. His work focuses on emerging AI risks, evaluation methods, and safe-by-design approaches, and he collaborates on the EU AI Office Code of Practice for general-purpose AI systems. He also initiated the Global Call for AI Red Lines, endorsed by twelve Nobel laureates.
