David Winickoff is the Head of the Responsible Innovation Unit in the Division of Science and Technology Policy (STP) in the Directorate for Science, Technology and Innovation at the OECD in Paris. He is also the Secretary of the Working Party on Bio-, Nano- and Converging Technology and STP co-lead on the Global Forum on Technology. In these capacities, he oversees research, policy work, and the development of soft law at the intersection of science, technology, and innovation at both national and international levels. He is also Adjunct Professor of Law and Technology Governance at SciencesPo Law School. Before his work at the OECD, he was a tenured professor at the University of California, Berkeley, where he directed the Program on Science and Technology Studies.
