Francois Ortolan
Digital Standards Technical Lead - Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport
Francois Ortolan is currently leading work on digital standards for the UK government, focusing on the technical aspects of the future of telecommunications and artificial intelligence. Francois is an engineer with 15 years of experience in the telecom industry and in government. He received a research MSc from Aalborg University in 2008 (DK) in wireless communication. He is currently following a degree in Artificial Intelligence and edge computing at the Oxford University. He started his carrier as a research scientist at Orange Labs (France), and Vodafone (UK) on the field. He then led an international innovation team in Anritsu for 8 years, working on 5G verticals in Test & Measurements.
