Henry Papadatos
Managing Director - SaferA
Henry Papadatos serves as the Managing Director of SaferAI, a France-based nonprofit organization dedicated to AI risk management and governance. In this role, he actively informs global AI governance through his involvement in critical initiatives including the EU AI Act and the G7 Hiroshima Process for AI.
At SaferAI, Henry spearheaded a pioneering AI risk management rating system for AI developers, earning support from prominent AI researcher Yoshua Bengio. He is currently developing a comprehensive AI risk management framework that bridges the gap between current AI practices and established risk management approaches from other industries.
Prior to joining SaferAI, Henry conducted technical research on large language models at the Center for Human-Compatible AI at UC Berkeley.
