James is the Head of Standardisation at SaferAl and supports the Al standardisation efforts atCEN-CENELEC JTC21 and ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC
42, in particular, the future Al risk management standard under development in support of the EU Al Act.
James came to Al risk management and standardization after fifteen years in the US and EU space industries. His experience includes an internship at NASA, the training of satellite operators, and the testing and launch of ISS resupply spacecraft. More recently, he aided defence contractors in enhancing the cybersecurity of spacecraft test infrastructure.
