Jana Novohradska is a policy consultant at the Ministry of Investments, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic. She covers Artificial Intelligence and Women in Digital and serves as CAHAI’s Gender Equality Rapporteur at Council of Europe as well as Representative of the Slovak Republic at UNESCO Consultation on Recommendation on Ethical AI.

Her workstream includes:

Framing national Slovakian AI policy and co-authored national Slovakian AI strategy for 2019-2022
Member of Slovakian Ethical and Regulatory Board for AI
Contributor to Progress Report of CAHAI approved by Council of Ministers with a focus on gender equality dimension, non-discrimination and explainability by design of AI systems.
Working on agenda of Testing and Experimentation Facilities for edge AI and sectorial AI applications European Commission project
High Level Expert participation in European Consultation on policy development of adoption of AI in public sector
