Deputy Director for Economic Security - Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport
Jennifer Tyldesley is the Deputy Director for Economic Security in the department for Digital Culture Media and Sport. The Economic Security team are responsible for managing investment screening casework in digital sectors and leading the development of policy frameworks for strategic technologies. In particular the team are concentrating on the development of UK semiconductor policy, and houses the secretariat for the UK Government Future of Compute review, announced in June 2022. Jen is an economist by training.
