Kate MacDonald
Fellow of the WEF's C4IR in San Francisco - New Zealand’s Department of Internal Affairs
Kate McDonald is the New Zealand Government Fellow to the World Economic Forum, working in the area of artificial intelligence and regulation. Kate is an experienced civil servant, with a background in social policy, international relations and futures thinking, and has spent the last ten years in cybersecurity and digital policy. She has held various roles for the New Zealand government, including setting up the new Digital Minister’s office and working closely with New Zealand’s international partners in the Digital Nations group. She is currently writing her thesis on digital policy.
