
Mariane Piccinin Barbieri
Policy Analyst - OECD
Mariane Piccinin Barbieri is a policy analyst at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). She works on access to justice and is the policy lead in the area of digital transformation and AI for justice. She joined the OECD in 2019 as a consultant on digital government and data. Earlier in her career, she served as a policy officer at the French Digital Council (“Conseil national du numérique”) alongside the French Ministry of Economy and Finance, acted as an individual specialist for UNESCO on digital transformation in the public sector, and worked in the São Paulo State Court of Justice. Additionally, she acted as a teaching assistant at Sciences Po and Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), and practised as a lawyer in the private sector, specialising in privacy and data protection. Mariane holds a bachelor’s degree in law from PUC-SP and a master’s degree in digital policy from the Paris School of International Affairs (Sciences Po).
