
Marine Collins Ragnet is Head of Innovation at New York University’s Peace Research and Education Program (PREP), Senior Fellow at the Portulans Institute, and Managing Editor of the Cambridge Journal of Artificial Intelligence. A member of UNESCO’s Women4EthicalAI Expert Group, her research focuses on participatory AI governance, indigenous data protection, and digital sovereignty in the Global South. She leads community co-design projects in Malawi, Kenya, and the Philippines, and previously served at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the U.S. Department of State, and the EU External Action Service.
