Mehmet Haklıdır is Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Projects Group Leader at TUBITAK BILGEM (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, Informatics and Information Security Research Center). He is a member of the Science, Technology and Innovation Policies Council Artificial Intelligence Technologies Roadmap Advisory Board. He is working on the establishment of the National AI Institute and developing Turkey’s strategic vision for AI. For more than 15 years, he has undertaken managerial and technical expert roles in large scale software projects. His recent activities are mainly focus on the research and development of big data architecture and analytics solutions using artificial intelligence/machine learning techniques.
