Merja Mustonen is a Master of Political Science and Chief Specialist in the Finnish Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, Department of Safety, Security and Health. She is representing Finland in EU4Health Programme Committee, The Nordic Council of Ministers’ Committee of Social and Health Policies and OECD Health Committee. She has a career in the Ministry in management and expert positions since 2001 and before that in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1999-2001. She has negotiated EU AI Act on behalf of social and health field of Finland and she is a member of a working group responsible for implementation of AIA in Finland.
