Ulrike Moetzel
Expert - Federal Ministry for Digital Transformation and Government Modernisation
Ulrike Moetzel is an economist and political scientist. She has worked for the German federal government in different ministries for several years and has experience in various policy areas at the European/international and national level. In the digital field, she has worked on AI strategy, data strategy, and the implementation strategy for digitalization, among others. In her previous functions she also covered the development of digital tools to facilitate data provision and use nationally as well as cross-border and cross-sector. She has been representing Germany in OECD WPs on data and AI since 2022 and takes part in several expert communities established within OECD as well as in the UN Working group on data governance.
