The strategy will establish policies to promote AI development in alignment with ethical and legal principles, contributing to national development goals and the SDGs. It aims to create, develop, and implement AI technologies that enhance human capacities and provide innovative solutions to drive Argentina's development.

This guide is for public and private entities to develop and use artificial intelligence in a responsible way, guaranteeing the right to transparency and the protection of citizens' personal data.

On June 1st, 2023, the Undersecretariat for Information Technologies approved under Disposition No. 2/2023 the "Recommendations for Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence". These recommendations provide a theoretical and practical guide that establishes a set of ethical principles to be considered and incorporated into every phase of an AI project within the public sector.

This program fosters analytical processes and enhances capabilities to ensure the responsible development and use of artificial intelligence. It targets both public and private entities that deploy automated decision-making systems, focusing on safeguarding citizens' privacy while encouraging transparency and clarity. The initiative comprises three key components: an artificial intelligence observatory, governance and social engagement, and capacity building.
