Initiative overview
The Public Digital Campus in France is an interministerial initiative that brings together and promotes the government’s digital training offerings for public sector employees. The initiative addresses the growing need for civil servants to acquire the knowledge and skills required to implement digital transformation effectively across all areas of public administration.
The primary objective of the Public Digital Campus is to equip public sector professionals—with or without a digital background—with the competencies necessary to drive innovation, improve service delivery, and support data- and technology-driven public action. Training programs cover a broad range of topics, including digital tools, data management, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.
The campus operates as a central platform, coordinating training content across ministries, providing access to online and in-person courses, and fostering knowledge sharing. By centralizing resources and expertise, the initiative ensures that public employees receive consistent, high-quality training tailored to their roles and responsibilities.
