To focus on supporting the nine key technological innovation tasks for AI-semiconductors, the government will pursue the following initiatives to comprehensively support the entire AI-semiconductor value chain: 1)Comprehensive investment and financial support, 2) Talent development, 3) Establishment of industrial and research innovation infrastructure, 4) Global cooperation and market entry, and 5)Leadership in AI ethical standards

Initiative overview

This initiative is aimed at driving technological innovation across the entire AI-semiconductor spectrum; it will leverage Korea's unique AI ecosystem whose strengths include world-class competitiveness in memory chips, robust hardware capabilities supported by a strong manufacturing sector, advanced capacity in AI model development, and outstanding AI and cloud service providers, to propel Korea into the global top three (G3) in the AI-semiconductor industry.
