AI Studios, a project of the BMAS, empower workers and their representatives to actively engage with AI and shape its applications in their workplaces. Through interactive AI demonstrators and 350 accessible workshops nationwide, participants experience realistic work scenarios with AI applications to learn about the technology’s impact, opportunities, and risks.

The project involves interactive demonstrators which provide information, raise awareness, and offer an interactive experience with vivid and realistic application examples from the working world of today and tomorrow. In specially developed innovative workshop formats, employees are methodically supported in dealing with AI systems and empowered to participate in implementation processes.The project has two regional AI studios in Munich and Stuttgart and an "AI Infomobile" which comes directly to companies.AI technologies have the potential to make work better, safer and more attractive for employees. To ensure that these changes actually lead to improvements for employees, they have to be informed of the potential possibilities, applications but also risks of AI technologies.The broad application of AI in companies is essential in order to maintain the global competitiveness of our industrial nation and to strengthen Germany as a location for the future technology of AI. For this to succeed, employees must experience the AI technologies as a benefit and support and co-design the implementation process.Objectives:The project aims to inform employees and their interest groups about AI applications at 250 events in 2,300 companies through interactive and low threshold offers.
