Initiative overview
DAGR (Data Dissemination and Management Platform) is Latvia’s planned next-generation data governance infrastructure. The platform is designed to enable secure data sharing among government bodies, businesses, and citizens, consolidating multiple government data sources into a single access point by 2030.
By streamlining public sector data access and reducing administrative overhead, DAGR seeks to make government services more efficient and integrated. It also intends to support emerging programmes like the European Digital Identity Wallet and AI training initiatives, giving them a foundational data environment to build on.
