The initiative has the following objectives:Consolidate Scikit-Learn's leading position in data science.Extend Scikit-Learn toolbox to tackle new trends and use cases, especially in industrial sectors and with issues relative to trustworthy AI.Enhance Scikit-Learn's position in the Big Data segment by speeding up the library, allowing better parallelisation and GPUs use tools, but also by working on a better integration with Deep Learning libraries such as Tensorflow and Pytorch.Enhance Scikit-Learn along with the whole open-source Data Science ecosystem with a self-contained, interoperable Data Wrangling package.Position France in the global effort for the Web 4.0 by developing locally pieces of the futures W3C standards (especially RDF 2.0).
