Initiative overview

Use of AI for resource efficiency and material savings. The contribution to environmental and climate protection through material and energy savings and thus also the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions is a goal of the Ministry of the Environment. The models developed in pilot projects are made available in open source and published, so they are freely available and can be adapted and used by others. Interest among companies has grown steadily over the course of the project period.

The private consulting institute conducted interviews during 6 months with all groups involved to gain an impression of the progress and design of the project and received exclusively positive feedback.
