The committee also approved the promotion and support of both public and private AI service providers to offer services through the central platform, aiming to enhance competitiveness and utilize AI technology in the country.
    - 28 Aug 2023: A press conference was held to mark the 1st year of Thailand NAIS and to highlight an important step forward in driving Medical AI. The conference aimed to report on the progress of Thailand NAIS during Phase I (2022-2023), to outline the planning of Flagship projects in Phase II (2024-2027), and to conduct the signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding on cooperation in research and development of datasets and innovations to further the use of artificial intelligence in medicine.
