The national agenda for ICT knowledge and innovation (2016-2019) is the framework for PPP-programmes for high end solutions, based on digital technologies 1) big data, 2) artificial intelligence, 3) blockchain, 4) cyber security and 5) Communication technologies (5G).

Initiative overview

This program continues the KIA ICT 2015-2017. Public and private funding for this program is estimated at EUR 60 million euros for two years. This program is also part of the broader Knowledge and Innovation Agenda program for Topsectors (energy, health, mobility etc.).The initiative has the following objectives:To connects scientists, corporate businesses and governments in order to develop high end ICT solutions.To use cross-connections and to turn them into opportunities.To stimulate and initiate innovations in ICT for all sorts of (top)sectors.To fully capitalise on the innovations in ICT in the future and to further advance economic growth in The Netherlands.To continue the national human capital programme on ICT.
