Initiative overview

The initiative aims to analyze the achievements and limitations of AI policies to date and seeks to maximize AI innovation capabilities while addressing shortcomings through a shift in policy paradigms by comprehensively considering the recent global AI market environment and Korea's potential.- Moving beyond the initial support for expanding AI infrastructure, the Korean government will focus on aiding the large-scale development and integration of AI infrastructure that private entities find challenging to tackle on their own.- In addition to fiscal investments, Korea intends to significantly improve the investment environment to encourage the private sector to invest more in AI.- Recognizing AI as national infrastructure, the government will promote a nationwide AI transition and support public-private collaboration to promote Korea's AI products and services beyond the domestic market and on the global stage.
