Inter-American Framework and Guidelines on Data Governance and Artificial Intelligence (MIGDIA)
The Inter‑American Framework on Data Governance and Artificial Intelligence (MIGDIA), launched in 2023 by OAS member states, provides a roadmap to guide the development of data governance for AI. It is implemented through thematic guidelines, a regional study and a model policy to support countries in building national data and AI governance frameworks.
